Red, White and Blue!
It’s time for another Inspire, Create and Share Blog Hop! Welcome to my blog in the hop. You may have just arrived here from Joni’s blog. Didn’t you just love her card!!!! This month, in honor of our nation’s birthday AND the new 2014-2015 Stampin’ Up! Catalog our theme is red, white and blue….with something NEW! So, here is my creation!
The inspiration for the card came from other crafty friends on Facebook and I knew that I had to use this idea for this month’s card! The colors I chose were Night of Navy, Real Red and Whisper White. I used two new sets for this design. The flag image is using stamps from the Work of Art set and the sentiment is the new Watercolor Thank You single stamp. It is very hard to see in this photo but the sentiment is embossed with iridescent ice embossing powder. I love that our regular inks have enough juice to emboss with. To finish this card off I added a few rhinestones in place of the stars.
The list of all hoppers can be found here, in case you got lost along the way!

Great design!

Love the rhinestones as the stars. And I just ordered the Thank You stamp. It was so appropriate how you used it on your card. Great idea – thanks for sharing.

I love how you used the stamp for the stripes. I really like the "Thank You" stamp. Creative way to layer the red in there.
