April International Blog Highlights
Welcome back to another International Blog Highlight. This month our theme is weddings. I know that we will have a few weddings this year and I do love making handmade cards for these special occasions. This month I did something non-traditonal and I am super happy with how it turned out.
The base layer is Very Vanilla, even though it is hard to tell and then I cut out the Detailed Floral Thinlits on a sheet of Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. I then layered a piece of vellum behind that and did the stained glass technique for the flowers. The tiny pearls give a dainty accent to the flowers and the soft stain ribbon gives it an elegant touch. This is so bright and fun for a summer wedding, don’t you agree?
I would love it so much if you would visit Kylie’s blog and vote for my card. The top 10 cards will earn a spot in an International Blog Hop and I would love to participate!
Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you like my card please be sure to leave me a comment and subscribe to the blog so you never miss a post!

Such a pretty card Jen! I love how you have cut the die out of Urban Underground Paper, I was wondering what that extra texture was! And the stained glass technique is wonderfully executed … I love it! xxx Cheryll – Australia
