Treatment is over but side effects are not. Hot fl Treatment is over but side effects are not. Hot flashes, night sweats and neuropathy seem to be getting worse as each week passes. This is the hard side of cancer that some don’t talk about. Hot flashes as bad as menopause-night sweats that are worse! Going through what feels like menopause for the 2nd time kind of sucks, to be honest. My feet have almost constant pain now, either joint pain, muscle pain or the hot prickles that won’t go away. Some days are worse than others and tonight, it’s pretty bad. Glad I see my doctor this week so we can talk about options. Praying it goes away eventually, but I know there is a chance I will have this forever. It was a risk I took with chemo and I don’t regret it at all. Thankful for God who is always with me, in good times and hard. I wouldn’t have gotten through this without my faith and I praise Him in my storms. This isn’t a “poor me” post 🥰, just sharing more of my story because I know others need hope in such a dark world. We breast cancer survivors are warrior women and we need to know we are not alone!
