April International Blog Highlights

Welcome back to another International Blog Highlight. This month our theme is weddings. I know that we will have a few weddings this year and I do love making handmade cards for these special occasions. This month I did something non-traditonal and I am super happy with how it turned out.

Non Traditional wedding card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight. For more information and inspiration visit www.faithgracestamp.com

The base layer is Very Vanilla, even though it is hard to tell and then I cut out the Detailed Floral Thinlits on a sheet of Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. I then layered a piece of vellum behind that and did the stained glass technique for the flowers. The tiny pearls give a dainty accent to the flowers and the soft stain ribbon gives it an elegant touch. This is so bright and fun for a summer wedding, don’t you agree?

I would love it so much if you would visit Kylie’s blog and vote for my card. The top 10 cards will earn a spot in an International Blog Hop and I would love to participate!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you like my card please be sure to leave me a comment and subscribe to the blog so you never miss a post!

ICS Blog Hop – Fabulous Framelits

ICSBlogHop

It’s the first Wednesday of the month so that means it’s time for the ICS Blog Hop! I am so excited that you are here.

This month we are showcasing our Fabulous Framelits! Did you know that Stampin’ Up! offers 52 different sets of framelits! That is such a huge selection to choose from! My project used 3 different sets between the gift item and the coordinating card.

Aug ICS Blog Hop

This was a wedding gift for my son’s youth group leader who got married last weekend. I used their invitation as the inspiration for patterns and colors. Their wedding was an evening filled with family, fun and faith. The bride and groom met last fall at a youth event held at church and now they are husband and wife. I love that our Large Letter Framelits and Large Number Framelits make personalized gifts so easy! The Sunshine Wishes thinlits made a coordinating card quick and easy to add!

Now it’s time to hop on over to Megan’s blog and see what she has for us. Thank you so much for hopping by tonight! I would love to know what you thought of my project! Be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post.

ICS Blog Hop It’s a Love Thing

Hello Everyone and welcome to another Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. This month we are celebrating love!

My card was created for a friends winter wedding last month. I was inspired by the wedding colors and the snow effects were used to match the decor she chose for her special day.

I absolutely love this Bloomin’ Heart Thinlit. I can be used for so many occasions! I think that using a layer of Glimmer Paper really gave this project bling and the bride for the wedding LOVES bling. The sentiments are from the Rose Wonder stamp set, which is one of my favorites from the Occasions catalog. I find it so versatile.

I am so glad that you stopped by today.  You can subscribe to my blog on the right and never miss another post. I
love blog love in the form of a comment, so please let me know what you
