Our theme for this highlight is using the stamp set All Things Thanks! This is a Wonderful stamp set with so many gorgeous sentiments. We wanted to highlight how versatile it really is.

Stunning Watercoloring using the watercolor pencils and aqua painter by Stampin Up! Find more inspiration at www.faithgracestamp.com

This image was stamped using Stazon Black ink and then watercolored using our coordinating colors and an aqua painter. This technique will be featured in my upcoming watercolor class and I would love to have you join me!

The sentiment fits so perfectly for a friend and doesn’t at all take away from the focal point of the image. I just love that!

Thanks for visiting my blog today make sure you head over to Kylie’s blog – http://bit.ly/KyliesMarchHighlights to vote for my project. I would love to be chosen to do an international blog hop.

Mediteranian Moments card colored with our coordinating water color pencils and a blender pen. Find more inspiration at www.faithgracestamp.com

I absolutely love the day dream saying that is included in the Designer Tee SAB stamp set. It really speaks to my soul. The gold ribbon is just perfect for a dash of bling, because we all love a little bling!

I paired these two products with the Mediterranean Moments stamp set, which is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. I love to watercolor and this set makes that so easy!

It’s time to Hop over to Tammy’s blog and see what she has created for us! Thanks for hopping with us tonight. I hope you will subscribe to my posts so that you can always be inspired!

Ultimate PINK Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Ultimate Pink Blog Hop – a collection of ideas from Stampin’ UP! demonstrators all over the globe featuring shades of pink in honor Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

I  am so glad that you are joining us. Breast Cancer has touched us all in one way or another. I lost my mom to this disease in 2005 and there isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t miss her. My card was inspired by thoughts of those brave women (and even men) who are currently in the fight!

Water-coloring is so relaxing for me. I love being able to shape and move the colors of a flower through the flow of the water. For my card I stamped the flower image with Black Stazon ink and then I used an Aqua Painter on our shimmer white paper to color the flower and leaves.

Thank you so much for joining us in the worldwide hop. To continue to be inspired whether you’ve come from the person previous to me or after me, Jen Guarino  on the list below all participants are listed to help you as you journey among us being filled with pink inspiration.

ICS Blog Hop Technique Time

ICSBlogHop

Hey Stampers and crafters! Welcome to the monthly Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. I am so glad to have you, whether you hopped over from Anna’s blog or if this is your first stop.

This month we are sharing our favorite techniques. I love techniques so much that I teach a monthly technique class – and the card I am sharing with you is a sneak peek of one of the techniques we will learn this month. My classes include one technique using paper and one technique using ink. This ink technique is called Salted Watercolor Background.

ics-sept-card

I absolutly love the rich colors of this card and the copper cutout using the Detailed Floral Thinlit is so dramatic, wouldn’t you agree? There isn’t much in the way of bling or accessories on this card because I want the star of the show, the technique, to stand out.

If you would like to join me for this class, or would like to purchase a class kit with complete instructions please leave me a comment or send me an email. Classes/kits include 4 cards – 2 of each technique, with envelopes and are only $15 or available for free with a minimum purchase.

Now it’s time to hope on over to Tina’s blog and see what she has for us!

Sparkle and Shine!

Hello stamping friends! Here is another great challenge from the sweet ladies over at Stampin Royalty. This week the challenge is to create something with Sparkle and Shine.

Nothing says bling like Gold! I love using it! And with our new Gold Wink of Stella pens it is super easy to get that sparkle and shine on any project.
My flower was watercolored using ink from the lid of the pad and a blender pen. The few outer edge highlights were added with the Wink of Stella and the inner flower is Wink of Stella as well.
It has been so much fun to be a part of the team at Stampin’ Royalty! I have enjoyed my time with them and being a Stampin’ Goddess has been a blast!

Wow…a card

So I have not been stamping in a looonnng time. And actually I’m thinking of changing my blog to a new name that is something a little more realistic. But for now, here is a card I made awhile back.
The colors came from a friend who made some cards with it. I used So Saffron for the base and accent color of Cameo Coral. The image is the retiring hostess set called From the Garden. I’ve always felt challenged when it comes to watercolors but I knew that is the only technique that would work with this image. I colors the image first with the Watercolor Crayons and blended with Gamsol. Then around the edges I used my markers in slightly brighter colors to give it some pop. I finished it off with stickles for Bling and a strip of twill tape and black brads.

I’m not sure anyone is even checking the blog anymore but I’m hoping to get back in the swing of stamping and posting!

Happy Stamping!
