Sale-A-Bration Celebration Treats

Hello my crafty peeps. I have some very fun projects to share with you today. Last week I hosted my 1st annual Sale-A-Bration Celebration. It was an event for my hosts and customers who held events or placed party sized orders during my best ever SAB! It was my change to say thank you and spoil them! We played silly games, enjoyed a delicious desert bar and of course stamped. Each guest was also treated to gifts – which I had so much fun making.

This week Stampin’ Royalty is hosting an Anything BUT a Card challenge I thought this would be the perfect time to share the pillow gifts my guests received.

Making 3-D items is one of my favorite ways to enjoy paper crafting and these were pure joy for me! I absolutely loved spoiling my guests and I think they enjoyed it at well.

Thanks so much for stopping by! Please let me know what you think of my project and you can subscribe to my blog and newsletter so that you never miss another post, special or event.

ICS Blog Hop Welcome Spring!

Welcome hoppers to another month of Inspire, Create, Share! We are so glad you are here!

This month we are celebrating all things Spring! And who doesn’t love this season. New beginnings, new life, and fresh starts! For my project this month I wanted to make something fun and fresh, and a light hearted way to celebrate Easter.
This card and project are great for sharing the message of Easter in a fun way! The large egg could be seen as an egg, or as the rock that covered the door of the tomb of Jesus.

This adorable bakers box could be filled with treats and given to neighbors, friends, teachers or even your church staff!
Thank you so much for hopping with us today! Now it’s time to see what Tina has in store for us.

Inking Everything Facebook Hop

Happy Monday! Today we are having a Facebook hop with the gals from Inking Everything! I wanted to share details about my card here and then encourage you to head over there and check out the rest of the amazing creations that the ladies have made.

For our hop we made a card and a coordinating project. First I want to show you my card.

With
Valentine’s Day coming I thought it would be great to get a head start
on the holiday! The stamp set featured is the Bloomin’ Love set and the
gorgeous paper is from the coordinating stack called Love Blossoms. I
used our newish whisper white card stock and it is amazing! What a
sturdy base it created!

Next I created a coordinating box to hold a yummy treat!
This
box is the perfect size for a little treat to give to someone special. I
love how quick and easy it is to decorate for any occasion. The
honeycombs are the perfect size for this project. Isn’t it just
adorable!

Gifts for Teachers

Happy November everyone! I love this month so much. Fall leaves, pumpkin everything, Thanksgiving and Giving Thanks.
Today’s post is one that I had meant to share a few weeks ago, and somehow it got missed. It is still fall related because we just started a new homeschool co-op this fall. I always love to give the other moms who teach my kids little treats throughout the year and this is what we started off with.
This project was inspired by a tutorial my upline created and as soon as I saw the little clipboards, I knew I had to make some of them. Are they not the cutest thing ever!!!
I packaged these back to back in a little cello bag and tied the top with some retired ribbon (oops! It was the only one I had that matched)
Thanks for stopping my today. I would love to know what you think of the project – leave me a comment! You can subscribe to the blog and never miss another post.
Have a great Monday!

October D’s Stamping Team USA Give Thanks

Hello everyone! I am so excited to be a guest hopper this month for Darla Robert’s team blog hop. Thank you so much for having me!
Today we are giving thanks for the many blessing we have in our life. I know for my family, we have so much to Give Thanks for.
For this hop, I really wanted to make a card that was quick and easy but also fun. I found these cute little punch art pumpkins on Pinterest (where else!) and knew that I needed to make some while it was still Fall. I found that they can be made with either an oval or a circle punch and go together in a snap. I paired them with the gorgeous plaid paper from the Happy Haunting Designer Series Paper so they can really stand out as the focual point of the card. I made pumpkins in three differenct sizes just to show how easy ther are. I used two on my card and then created a cute little treat with the last one.

Now, it’s time to hop on over to Kay’s blog and see what she has made this month. Thanks so much for hopping by. Please leave me some love in the form of a coment andy You can subscribe to my blog so that you never miss a post

Tic Tac Tutorial

Hello friends! It’s been a busy 1st week of September around these parts. Birthdays, youth outreach events, getting caught up from vacation and then friends in town for the holiday weekend. I hope that things have been going well for you!
In July, I participated in a Treat Swap at Convention in Salt Lake City. My treat holder was an original creation and I have had some requests for directions so today I present to you my very first tutorial!!!! Creating something like a tutorial was very overwhelming for me and I decided I just needed to face my fears and do it. So, without further ado…..
Start with a piece of card stock measuring 4.5″ X 6″
Using your Simply Scored Scoring Tool, score the short side of your card stock at 3/4″ and 3-3/4″
then score the long side of your card stock at 5/8″, 1-3/8″, 3-3/8″ and 4″
Cut some coordinating Designer Series Paper so that you have the following
2 at 2-3/4″ X 1-3/4″
2 at 1/2″ X 1-3/4″
1 at 1/2″ X 2-3/4″
You will also need a piece of coordinating card stock cut to 3/8″ X 2-1/2″ and scored at 1/2″, 3/4″, 1-3/4″ and 2″

Using Multipurpose Liquid Glue, adhere the designer series paper to the card stock, leaving the top side sections blank. These are folded in and never seen or cut away.
Fold along all score lines and crease using your bone folder.

Using your paper snips, cut on the first and second horizontal score lines from the bottom up to the vertical score line and cut a small V into each to make folding easier. Repeat on the opposite side.
Next, cut away the top two side sections on the score lines on each side of the box.
When you are done, your box should look like this:
Using your Liquid glue you can now assemble the box, fold your handle and attach to the top.
Cut a 5/8″ Velcro circle into quarters

Attach the soft side of the velcro to the lid of your box and fold over to find the proper placement of the rough side. Press firmly to make sure that each half is securely in place.
Voila! Your box is now complete!! Just add Tic Tac’s!

I hope that you love this project as much as I do. If you would like a printable version of the tutorial, click here
I would love to know your thoughts on this so leave me a comment! Don’t forget to subscribe to the blog so that you never miss another post.
Hugs and Happy Stampin’!
