Adventure Awaits

Hello crafty friends. I am so excited to share a card with you today! It has been way too long since I’ve blogged. To be honest, I have been enjoying this summer with my family and both crafting and blogging have taken a bit of a back seat. As summer begins to wind down, I am ready to get back to crafting, creating and bringing paper to life.

Stunning background using Pan Pastels by Fun Stampers Journey. For more inkspiration visit

The showcase of this card is the background, which was created using the Pan Pastels in the Party Pop palette. These pastels are unlike anything I’ve used before. Soft and creamy, bright and bold but easily blendable & have the ability to create custom colors. These are such an amazing product and will be featured as one of the techniques this month, at Technique Class. I would love to have you join me! The airplane is from the Begin Adventure stamp set and is finished off with some Journey Glaze. I think the glaze is my new favorite product. I am adding it to EH-vry-thing!!

In case you haven’t heard yet – Fusion Stamp Pad’s are on sale this month, so it’s the perfect time to stock up! What makes Fun Stampers Journey ink different? It’s a hybrid of pigment AND dye ink that produces crisp, clear images and works on a HUGE variety of surfaces and with many types of mixed media products. There is nothing else on the market like our exclusive Fusion Inks!

Simple and elegant card featuring All Things Thanks by Stampin' Up! For more inspiration visit

Gold is so trendy for spring and this paper is just the thing to make this pop. I wanted something that was quick, easy and yet elegant. The sentiment and the mini circles are embossed with Gold as well to bring all elements together. The Gold Thread was an added touch that I really like.

Woot Woot! Do you hear that?? It’s the weekend calling! What are your plans this weekend? I will be getting ready for my first ever mission trip! I am so very excited and I cannot wait to share more about that with you guys in the coming weeks.

Today at SSInkspirations, we are sharing some of our favorites! For me, I couldn’t wait to get some ink onto one of my newest sets, and I KNOW it will be a favorite of mine right from the start.

Gorgeous waterecolored card featuring the Beautiful You stamp set. For more inspiration visit

This image is from the new stamp set found in the Occasions Catalog called Beautiful You.

I absolutely love the free spirit of this set and the sentiments included are on point! Add all of that to the fact that I can watercolor (which is my favorite technique!!) and I will be reaching for this set a LOT over the next few months.

To purchase this set from my online store, just click the photo above. I know you will love it as well!

January Technique with SSInk

Hooray! It’s technique week over at SSInk. I hope you will join us and try this one out!

Bokeh technique using tampin' Up! supplies. This is a wow of a technique that can be used in many ways. For more inspiration visit

This card is using a lighter color, Daffodil Delight and the circles are a bit hard to photograph. I love how this technique forced me to let go of any desire for perfection, let me just go a little crazy with ink and it wasn’t really possible to mess up. I have a few other cards with technique so be sure to subscribe to my blog so that you don’t miss those posts.

November Technique Fun!

#SSINKTC37 – Technique Challenge

Yay! It’s my favorite Monday of the month. It’s the Monday where we are hosting the monthly technique challenge over at SSINK.

I love this grid technique. It can really add a fun effect to any panel on the card. In this case it is pretty subtle with the grid being so small. I just received this new set, Star of Light and the coordinating Starlight thinlits. These are my favorite set from our holiday catalog.

ICS Blog Hop Technique Time

Hey Stampers and crafters! Welcome to the monthly Inspire, Create, Share blog hop. I am so glad to have you, whether you hopped over from Anna’s blog or if this is your first stop.

This month we are sharing our favorite techniques. I love techniques so much that I teach a monthly technique class – and the card I am sharing with you is a sneak peek of one of the techniques we will learn this month. My classes include one technique using paper and one technique using ink. This ink technique is called Salted Watercolor Background.

I absolutly love the rich colors of this card and the copper cutout using the Detailed Floral Thinlit is so dramatic, wouldn’t you agree? There isn’t much in the way of bling or accessories on this card because I want the star of the show, the technique, to stand out.

If you would like to join me for this class, or would like to purchase a class kit with complete instructions please leave me a comment or send me an email. Classes/kits include 4 cards – 2 of each technique, with envelopes and are only $15 or available for free with a minimum purchase.

Now it’s time to hope on over to Tina’s blog and see what she has for us!

Thank you so much for hopping by today. Be sure to subscribe to the blog so that you never miss another post.
