An exciting announcment!

Hello my stamping friends! I am so excited to share with you that I have been invited to be a Guest Goddess over at Stampin’ Royalty!! I have been playing along with their challenges for the last couple of months so asking to be on the team is a HUGE honor!
The challenge for this week was to make a guy card. We know that those are always tough but with the new Going Global product suite it just got a lot easier.
The coordinating paper, stamp set and embossing folder make crafting for any guy in our life super simple, and we all know how much I like quick and easy!
I am so glad that you stopped by today.  You can subscribe to my blog on the right and never miss another post. I

Making Spirits Bright

Hello everyone and happy Monday! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Did you see the Supermoon Lunar Eclipse last night? Amazing wasn’t it?
Today I wanted to share with you one of the cards we will make this week at the monthly Christmas Card Stamp a Stack. Guests will have their choice of card base to make it even more personal.

I absolutly love the simplicity of this card and the vintage, distressed look that the ink gives to the trees of the Woodlands Embossing folder.
 Woodlands Embossing folder
Add texture and depth to the trees by using a dauber and ink onto the raised portions of your cardstock.
This ornaments and sentiment could be changed to any color and would still be stunning. Add a few gold accents and voila! Clean, simple and gorgeous!
Want to try this yourself? You can! Join me Thursday at 6:30pm or Friday morning at 11AM and get a hard start on your cards at my monthly Christmas Stamp A Stack. Email me for more information or to reserve your spot.
Thanks for stopping by today. Let me know your thoughts on this project by leaving me a little love in the form of a comment. Be sure to subscribe to the blog so you never miss another post.

ICS Blog Hop – Introducing the Holiday Catalog!

Hello Hoppers and welcome to the September edition of the Inspire, Create, Share Blog Hop. You may have hopped here from Amanda’s Blog or this could be your first stop. Either way, I am so glad to have you here.
Today we are showcasing our favorite products from the just released 2015 Holiday Catalog by Stampin’ Up! This year’s catalog is packed with so many amazing products – I want them all! If you don’t have a catalog yet and would like me to mail you one, just let me know!
One of my favorite bundles is the Jingle All the Way stamp set and matching Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies. As soon as I saw it during the unveiling at Stampin’ Up! North American Convention in July, I knew it would be one of the first things I purchased.
This stamp set includes 13 stamps and 3 coordinating edgelits so that you are able to make a variety of scenes on your cards, scrapbooks pages or projects. Once cut, the edgelits can be flipped over to be used in reverse and adds even more versatility to the set. I cannot wait to share some of the other ways I have been using this set with you in the coming weeks and months. It is a stand out for sure! Using the 4 different colors of cardstock for this card gave the project depth and dimension and I think really helps set the scene. I love the glitter effect for snow using the Dazzling Details underneath the sleigh.  You can find all of the supplies used for my card at the bottom of this post and you can purchase all of them at my online store.
Now, it’s time to hop on over to Deb’s Blog and see her fantastic project!
Thanks

ICS Blog Hop – Giving Thanks

Hello and welcome to the November ICS Blog Hop – Giving Thanks! If you’ve traveling through the hop, you would have just visited Olivia’s blog. Didn’t you just love her style?! I sure do. If you arrived from somewhere else, such as Facebook, thanks for stopping by. You can just follow the next button at the bottom and continue hopping with us!
OK, enough of that. Here is my card for this Blog Hop. I just love the deep colors of this card, reminding me of the changing leaves on the trees outside. The sentiment is so appropriate for our hop, and this month with Thanksgiving in just a few weeks. Finally the hardwood background stamp is one of my favorites because the look is so authentic and is great when needing to make a card for a guy.

Sunburst Birthday

Happy Tuesday! I have a card for you that I completed for a business builder challenge last week. I learned the sunburst technique and I {{LOVE}} it! I will be doing more of these very soon.

This was also a new color combination for me and I love the blending of fall color in Hello Honey with the brightness of summer Coastal Cabana.

I will be sharing how to do this technique at my Technique Class this month and I would love to show you how! Just email me to reserve your space.
