Quick and Easy Card

I love quick and easy cards! I love them so much that I offer a class once a month where you can come and make 10 Q&E cards in just 2 hours. If you are not local and would like a kit, I offer that as well!

This week was my most recent class and today I am sharing one of those cards with you, along with my design team friends as SSInk.

QE July SSInk

The Sitting Here set makes cards that have a sweet, country feel and with just a couple of pops of color you can see how quick AND easy it can be! I am really enjoying mixing the returning In Colors with the new In Colors. This combination of Peekaboo Peach, Mint Macron and Tip Top Taupe as just gorgeous, don’t you think?!

One Layer Challenge

Happy Monday Friends! I was able to squeeze in the weekly challenge over at Stampin’ Royalty this weekend and I wanted to share it with you. This week we made one layer cards. The new Swirly Bird set was just what I needed to make this quick and easy card!

I am loving the new In Colors – especially Dapper Denim and Flirty Flamingo. This set has such a variety of elements included that it is going to be showcased again and again. I love that it can be used on it’s own as I did here, or with the coordinating thinlits to step things up a notch.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I would love to know what you think of my card and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post!

TGIF Challenge!

Happy Monday. I hope you had a great weekend. Mine was so busy but I am happy to say that we did manage to get the Christmas decor down from the rafters and the tree is up. Great progress!!
Today I am participating in the TGIF Challenge. This week was a color challenge
And here is my design
The Sleigh Ride stamps and coordinating edgelits are my favorite product out of the soon-to-retire Holiday Catalog so I want to use the heck out of them!!
These coordinating products make crafting so quick and easy. A few cutouts using the big shot, a stamp or two and a little bling and you have a beautiful card. I especially love these colors together, don’t you?
Thank you so much for stopping by my blog! You can subscribe to my blog on the right and never miss another post. I

ICS Blog Hop Fall for All

Welcome back hoppers for another month of ideas and inspiration. If you have arrived from Deb’s Blog, I am so glad you stopped by. Wasn’t her project just awesome! If this is your first stop on the hop – Welcome! Just follow the links at the end of each post so you are sure to not miss a thing!
This month we are all focusing on fall. While fall is not my favorite season, I do love the gorgeous colors of the trees, all things pumpkin and the Thanksgiving holiday.
I also love this fall themed Designer Series Paper from the Holiday Catalog. It made creating this card so quick and easy. Lots of layers really help the texture and then the fussy cut leaves and acorn were the finishing touches. I wanted the paper to be the star of the show so this card is actually embellishment free – not something I usually do.
Be sure to check back on Friday for the coordinating projects that I did with this card. They are so much fun and you won’t want to miss them!
Now, it’s time to hop on over to Tina’s Blog and see what she has in store for us. Please leave me some love in the form of a comment and let me know what you think of my card. I would love for you to subscribe to my blog and never miss a post!

Stamp Out Breast Cancer with Paper Pumpkin

To show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we’re going
PINK . . . or at least our October boxes are! And because we know our
subscribers want to share the love too, we will be making a donation on
their behalf to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF).
Stampin’ Up! will donate
  • $1 for every active Paper Pumpkin subscriber.
  • Plus, an additional $1 for every new subscriber.
Together, we will make a difference!
Here’s how you can help:
  1. Subscribe! If you’re new to Paper Pumpkin, click
here to get started. Your first kit will arrive in a limited-edition
pink box that you’ll want to hold onto forever-and we’ll donate $2 because you’re new!
  2. Stay active if you’re a subscriber so we can donate
$1 for you. Only those who receive the October shipment will be counted
    for the donation.
  3. Spread the word! Help us get as many new
subscribers as possible. Every current subscriber adds $1 and for new
subscribers it’s doubled, so let’s get the word out and raise as much as
    possible.

More About BCRF

The Breast Cancer Research
Foundation (BCRF) advances the world’s most promising research to
eradicate breast cancer. Founded by Evelyn H. Lauder in 1993, BCRF has
raised more than $550 million to fuel discoveries in tumor biology,
genetics, prevention, treatment, survivorship and metastasis, making it
one of the largest non-governmental funders of breast cancer research in
the world. This year BCRF has invested $58.6 million in research, to
support over 235 researchers at leading medical institutions across six
continents, including $11.6 million to the international Evelyn H.
Lauder Founder’s Fund focused on metastasis. By spending 91 cents of
every dollar on research and public awareness programs, BCRF remains one
of the nation’s most fiscally responsible nonprofits. BCRF is the only
breast cancer organization with an “A+” from CharityWatch, and has been
awarded Charity Navigator’s highest rating of four stars 13 times since
2002. For more information, please visit: www.bcrfcure.org.
