Love you Valentine

Hello my stamping friends!

Today at SSInk we are sharing Valentines Day cards. This is a very popular card holiday. How many cards do you make for it?

Melon Mambo and Black really pop in this Valentine card. Designed by Jen Guarino. Find more inspiration at

For this project I wanted to use only products from our Annual Catalog. I was able to do that, and I especially love the little hearts from the Perpetual Calendar stamp set.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I would love to hear from you in the comments and be sure to subscribe to my blog so that you never miss another post!

Join us in the color challenge! Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July everyone. This is the greatest day in America and I hope that you will be celebrating with friends and family. We are super busy putting in a back yard – with 100 degree temps. I swear we are crazy people. But The Lord opened doors for us to do this project now so we are running with it.

This weeks challenge is a great one over at SSInkspiration.

SSINK Color Challenge July

I thought it would be fun to use these colors for something other than stars and stripes!

The background was watercolored using the Dapper Denim and an Aqua Painter. I always watercolor on the Shimmery White paper because it will not pill up like our Whisper White.  All of the other elements are from the Sunshine Sayings bundle. This is such a great set with many words and adorable images that can be die cut with the big shot.

SSInk Sketch Challenge

It’s Saturday! The weekend. Time for projects around the home, maybe a yard sale or two and of course some stampin’. Today I played along with the sketch challenge over at SSInkspirations. I have to say that this challenge was just that – a challenge for me!

I like my layers neat and orderly – but once I got going on this, I had a lot of fun getting outside my normal box.

For this card I was able to combine two of my most favorite NEW items from the Annual Catalog, Jars of Love and Serene Scenes DSP. I know that I will be using these two products again and again, so I hope you will enjoy seeing lots of them!

Mystery Challenge at SSInk

Hey gang! It’s the weekend! Hope you have something fun planned for you or your family. We have a full schedule the next few days, celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary and helping th teenager in the house get to her various activities. She’s a great kid and has a very full schedule!
I was able to get some crafting time in and played along with the monthly Mystery Challenge over at SSInk. With so many elements to choose from  it was a little hard to decide which direction I should go.
Here is what I came up with!
I used the wet wash watercolor technique on this card for the layer with the sentiment. It is so quick and easy, can be used for any color combo and gives such a soft look in this case.
Underneath that layer I used three different embossing folders for the three different colors of paper. There are lots of textures going on here and I love they way they all worked together.
The glimmer paper heart adds a little amount of bling and the sequins are from January’s Paper Pumpkin kit. I love the look they bring!
I encourage you to try out any of the challenges I post here on my blog. They really help me get my into my stamp stash and use all of the wonderful products we sell at Stampin’ Up!
If you need any help ordering or just need a current catalog please let me know! I am here for you!

I am so glad that you stopped by today.  You can subscribe to my blog on the right and never miss another post. I
love blog love in the form of a comment, so please let me know what you
think of this project!

ICS Blog Hop – Be Mine

Hello fellow crafter’s and Happy New Year!! I hope that your holiday season was full of blessings and the new year is off to an amazing start. It is the first Wednesday of the month and that means another fantastic Blog Hop with the Inspire, Create, Share Hoppers!
You may have arrived here from Olivia’s Blog. Isn’t she so talented? I love her work! Or you may have started here and I want to say welcome to everyone.
And now, onto my project. This card image is from the just released stamp set Big on You and I have to say that it is in my top 3 favorites from the new Occasions Catalog. I love when I have a big image that can be the main focal point for a card. They can be dressed up or left simple and make quick work of card making in a pinch.
I thought this card would be great for Valentines Day and can easily be switched up for your guy using a different background masculine colors. It could also be a great anniversary card or any time!
All of the supplies used can be found below and you can shop my store 24/7 to order these great products.
Now, onto Nichole’s blog to see what she has in store for you! Thanks for Hopping with us. Please leave Blog Love in the form of a comment and subscribe so you never miss a post! Happy Stampin’!
