Change isn’t always bad

So many people I know do not like change.

They are afraid of change, or what the change will bring or mean. I no longer fear change and in fact, after the past two years I embrace every change that The Lord brings me to, because I know He will bring me though it.
I wanted to take this opportunity to let you know that I have decided to step down from Stampin’ Up! I have loved my time as a demonstrator and I still love paper crafting. I am excited to continue my passion to learning and teaching classes but will be offering products from other companies as well and branching out to include things such as mixed media, hand lettering, home decor and more. I will still be having classes at my home and at others homes as requested. I will still be active on Facebook, Instagram and as you see am launching a new website featuring all aspects of my creative journey. I hope you will join my on my journey! I expect many exciting things to come!

April International Blog Highlights

Welcome back to another International Blog Highlight. This month our theme is weddings. I know that we will have a few weddings this year and I do love making handmade cards for these special occasions. This month I did something non-traditonal and I am super happy with how it turned out.

Non Traditional wedding card for Kylie Bertucci's International Blog Highlight. For more information and inspiration visit

The base layer is Very Vanilla, even though it is hard to tell and then I cut out the Detailed Floral Thinlits on a sheet of Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. I then layered a piece of vellum behind that and did the stained glass technique for the flowers. The tiny pearls give a dainty accent to the flowers and the soft stain ribbon gives it an elegant touch. This is so bright and fun for a summer wedding, don’t you agree?

I would love it so much if you would visit Kylie’s blog and vote for my card. The top 10 cards will earn a spot in an International Blog Hop and I would love to participate!

Thanks so much for stopping by today. If you like my card please be sure to leave me a comment and subscribe to the blog so you never miss a post!

March Inkspiration

Good morning crafty friends. It’s time for another fun challenge with the gals from SSInk.

Our inkspiration today is:

My creation is a scene I created for one of the raffles at Inking Idaho on the Road 2017. I was inspired by projects I saw on Pintrest and decided to take them to a new level.

A fun and adorable Easter scene created with many 3-d framelits and dies from Stampin' Up! For more information and inspiration visit

Street Scene was created on an 8″ X 16″ canvas from Hobby Lobby

Houses were created using the Sweet Home Thinlits

The Thoughtful Branches Bundle was used for the tree

The bunny and the grass are a part of the Basket Bunch/ Basket Builder Bundle in the Occasions Catalog. Each door of the house has a window sheet so that it can be filled with the chocolate eggs.

The roofs had a small magnet on each of them so they could be opened and closed.

The Tasty Truck stamp set  from Sale-A-Bration was perfect for the street.

This project was a huge hit and it was so very fun to make. It was a project like none that I have done before but it stretched me greatly and I am so happy that I took it on.

If you liked this, please let me know in the comments and be sure to subscribe to receive future posts via email.

A Little Lucky Treat!

Hello laddies! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Are you going to celebrate today or tonight? We will be gathering with friends that were on our Belize mission trip to share photos and videos.

I’ve created a fun treat holder for you today:

Adorable St. Patrick's Day treat holder made using the curvy keepsake box from Stampin' Up! Find more inspiration at

This adorable piece was made using the Curvy Keepsake box from Stampin’ Up! I used only half of the die, cutting 2 out and running them through the chunky embossing folder. Then I glued the 2 parts together and ties with the gold and white ribbon from Sale-A-Bration. The clover was made using the Pansy Punch die and the cute greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Wouldn’t this be a fun favor for the holiday?

Thanks for coming by today. Be sure to subscribe so that you never miss a piece of inspiration!

Stunning Watercoloring using the watercolor pencils and aqua painter by Stampin Up! Find more inspiration at

This image was stamped using Stazon Black ink and then watercolored using our coordinating colors and an aqua painter. This technique will be featured in my upcoming watercolor class and I would love to have you join me!

The sentiment fits so perfectly for a friend and doesn’t at all take away from the focal point of the image. I just love that!
