Meet Frank

Happy Monday crafters! I have a super fun treat bag for you today, in honor of Halloween.

Isn’t he just adorable. His head is a spring treat bag. His hair is 3 layers of Black Licorice card stock that has been embossed with the Beach Towel folder and highlighted with a white gel pen. The layers of hair are glued together and then glued to the very top edge of the bag and folded over. Eyes are punched and highlighted. His mouth is thin scraps in the shape of your choice. His scars are hand drawn and his eyes even have a little bloodshot in them.  This is filled with a treat for the host of the party my kids’ are attending on Tuesday.

March Inkspiration

Good morning crafty friends. It’s time for another fun challenge with the gals from SSInk.

Our inkspiration today is:

My creation is a scene I created for one of the raffles at Inking Idaho on the Road 2017. I was inspired by projects I saw on Pintrest and decided to take them to a new level.

A fun and adorable Easter scene created with many 3-d framelits and dies from Stampin' Up! For more information and inspiration visit

Street Scene was created on an 8″ X 16″ canvas from Hobby Lobby

Houses were created using the Sweet Home Thinlits

The Thoughtful Branches Bundle was used for the tree

The bunny and the grass are a part of the Basket Bunch/ Basket Builder Bundle in the Occasions Catalog. Each door of the house has a window sheet so that it can be filled with the chocolate eggs.

The roofs had a small magnet on each of them so they could be opened and closed.

The Tasty Truck stamp set  from Sale-A-Bration was perfect for the street.

This project was a huge hit and it was so very fun to make. It was a project like none that I have done before but it stretched me greatly and I am so happy that I took it on.

A Little Lucky Treat!

Hello laddies! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! Are you going to celebrate today or tonight? We will be gathering with friends that were on our Belize mission trip to share photos and videos.

I’ve created a fun treat holder for you today:

Adorable St. Patrick's Day treat holder made using the curvy keepsake box from Stampin' Up! Find more inspiration at

This adorable piece was made using the Curvy Keepsake box from Stampin’ Up! I used only half of the die, cutting 2 out and running them through the chunky embossing folder. Then I glued the 2 parts together and ties with the gold and white ribbon from Sale-A-Bration. The clover was made using the Pansy Punch die and the cute greeting is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. Wouldn’t this be a fun favor for the holiday?

Spring Catalog Must Have’s – Part One!

Welcome back to another fantastic Blog Hop with the amazing gals I am working with this year to the Alaska Incentive Trip with Stampin’ Up! I am so glad you are here. This month we are sharing our first Must-Have’s from the new Occasions Catalog. There are so many great options and it was hard for me to decide what to purchase first.

I decided on the Lift Me Up Bundle, found on page 10 of the catalog. I was able to also earn the coordinating DSP available during Sale-A-Bration and used both of them on my project.

A fun 3-D items made using the Up and Away thinlits and coordinating DSP from Stampin' Up! Find more inspiration at

I really loved the project example but I didn’t have the clear boxes so I decided to use my Gift Box punch board to make a box instead. I just folded the top flaps inward and glued then down. It was a faitly quick project using the precision plate with the big shot and the great tools and adhesives Stampin’ Up! offers.

Now it’s time to keep hoping along to Jayme’s blog and see what she has for you!

My project

Festive home decor piece! Shaker tealight votive cover created using supplies from Stampin' Up! My Paper Pumpkin kit. Faith. Grace. Stamp. with Jen Guarino

I’ve seen many fun votive holders during the fall season and I thought it would be fun to create a Shaker Votive cover as a table centerpiece. The window box was completed using a window sheet and a piece of vellum for a softer look and both the front and back of the box have the windows so that it’s beauty can be seen from both sides.

Now it’s time to hop over to my BFF Nichole’s blog and see what she has created. I would love to hear your thoughts on my project and be sure to subscribe so that you never miss another post!

A little pumpkin patch

Happy Friday friends! Are you ready for the weekend? Maybe you are going to visit the pumpkin patch this weekend, like we are? Halloween is just a few days away so it’s time to get those teacher gifts ready, put the finishing touches on costumes and get ready to party! Over at SSINK, we are sharing some 3-D projects today!

And if you know me, you know how much I {{LOVE}} 3-D projects. They are my favorite thing to create!

Curvy keppsake pumkins. Perfect treat for Halloween.

These adorable guys are so fun to make! I especially love their leaf swoops! Reminds me of a 1985 haircut.

Halloween Treats are so sweet!

With Halloween just a few days away, I thought it would be great fun to show you some of the many treats I have created this season. Today my project is playing along with the color challenge over at Fab Friday AND showing off a candy theme for the TGIF Challenge!

A fun candy tote made using the Envelop Punch board and featuring the Halloween Night DSP from Stampin' Up!

This adorable treat tote is all over Pinterest right now and I knew I had to try it out. I love anything 3-D and this was so quick and easy to make using the Envelope Punch Board. It will hold up to 5 Hershey Nuggets that have been wrapped in coordinating DSP.

Alaska Blog Hop – October

Welcome Hoppers to our #Alaska2018 Blog Hop. I am so glad that you are here. Today we have a boatload of ideas to inspire you by pairing products that work well together!

I have paired a fun gift bag from our annual catalog with a tag using products from our holiday catalog. I love that supplies from both of our current catalogs can work together hand in hand and gives us so many options for projects. I have been busy working on some adorable Halloween treats to give to our friends this year.

I love how versatile these petite cafe bags are. They can be dressed up in so many ways and they can hold candies, a cupcake or any kind of small gift. The bag has been decorated with the candy corns also used in the jar and some Halloween Night designer series paper. Then I stamped the jar and more candy corn from the Jar of Haunts stamp set and used the Everyday Jar framelits to cut it out. The gold clip on the top is a really fun way to hold it all together.

Thank you so much for hopping with us. Be sure to stop by every blog (you are at Jen Guarino) to see what others have paired together. Please leave us some love in the form of a comment. You can also subscribe so that you never miss another post!
