My Stampin’ Up! Story

I was first introduced to the world of rubber stamps in 2003. I neighbor whom I had never met sent her husband over to invite me to a workshop she was having at her house. I worked full time then and my daughter was still a toddler so I jumped at the chance to get together with other ladies for a couple of hours. I have never considered myself as crafty or creative, I mean I could not cut a straight line with a paper cutter! But then I saw all of the tools, stamps, matching inks, paper and ribbons. After a short run through of the projects and a little help from the demonstrator I saw how easy it actually was. I left that day with a couple of cards, a scrapbook page and a love of stamping!
After being a customer for a few years, in August 2006 I took the plunge and joined Stampin’ Up!. Now one of the things I love most about being a demonstrator is sharing stamping with others and helping them to find their inner creative diva – even if they can’t cut a straight line with a paper cutter.
