Hello crafty friends. I am so excited to share a card with you today! It has been way too long since I’ve blogged. To be honest, I have been enjoying this summer with my family and both crafting and blogging have taken a bit of a back seat. As summer begins to wind down, I am ready to get back to crafting, creating and bringing paper to life.
The showcase of this card is the background, which was created using the Pan Pastels in the Party Pop palette. These pastels are unlike anything I’ve used before. Soft and creamy, bright and bold but easily blendable & have the ability to create custom colors. These are such an amazing product and will be featured as one of the techniques this month, at Technique Class. I would love to have you join me! The airplane is from the Begin Adventure stamp set and is finished off with some Journey Glaze. I think the glaze is my new favorite product. I am adding it to EH-vry-thing!!
In case you haven’t heard yet – Fusion Stamp Pad’s are on sale this month, so it’s the perfect time to stock up! What makes Fun Stampers Journey ink different? It’s a hybrid of pigment AND dye ink that produces crisp, clear images and works on a HUGE variety of surfaces and with many types of mixed media products. There is nothing else on the market like our exclusive Fusion Inks!

True Color Fusion Ink Pads
Yes, I really am excited about an ink pad! Not all ink pads are created equal. If you are a stamper you know that there are dye based pads and pigment based pads. Well, these True Color Fusion pads are a Hybrid pad, a blend of both dye and pigment! You get the crisp rich color of pigment ink but it dries with the speed of dye ink! No bleeding, waterproof, great on all surfaces and every color has matching card stock. AND, there are 50 colors to choose from. I cannot wait to get them!
Fun Stampers Journey is excited to partner with PanPastels. We are the first Direct Sales crafting company to offer a crafting collaboration such as this. PanPastels are an artist quality soft pastel that comes in a uniquely designed pan tray. PanPastels
are a dry color application that applies like a fluid paint. Each color pan offers a concentrated pigment color that stays true to color even when exposed to light and are fully erasable. These unique qualities offer countless color palette combinations when mixed together. The Fun Stampers Journey PanPastels are individually packaged in four color family combinations.
Each color combination comes ready to use with its own Sofft Tools. We offer 4 color pallets in addition to 3 individual add-ons of gold, silver and the colorless blender.

Hello everyone! Today I want to share with you my thoughts and a few projects I have made with products from Fun Stampers Journey.
This company is very new to me, but not new to the paper crafting world. They began almost 4 years ago and are based out of Phoenix Arizona. Started by Richard and Gabby Garay, FSJ has a complete line of products for your paper crafting needs.
I ordered a few products to try out and see what I thought.
Stamps are made in the USA of high quality red rubber, deeply etched to stamp a clear image every time. Each is mounted on cling foam that has the image laser printed and they stick to the clear blocks all the time! No sticker means no stamps falling off! I did a test and tried to shake the stamp off as hard as I possibly could and it never came off. Impressive!
FSJ offers an ink that is amazing. It is called True Color Fusion Ink. True Color Fusion pads are a Hybrid pad, a blend of both dye and pigment! You get the crisp rich color of pigment ink but it dries with the speed of dye ink! No bleeding, waterproof, great on all surfaces and every color has matching card stock. AND, there are 50 colors to choose from, so you have a huge selection to choose from. Another fun ink product that I loved right away are the Silks. Journey Silks provide a metallic shimmer effect in a concentrated form. Use to dab, flick, and drop color directly onto your projects, or apply with one of our artist brushes for more control.
Now for a few of the projects I have made. These photos are raw and some projects are incomplete since I just wanted to get a feel for what I had ordered.
This card was made using the Sweet You stamp set. I stamped the image in some black Momento ink that I had on hand and colored using my new Ohuhu alcohol markers.
This was another image from the Sweet You set, this time stamped on Daffodil Delight card stock using FSJ’s Whip Cream Ink. I am very impressed with how crisp the lines are even with a craft ink pad. It took only seconds to dry and did not smear at all when I was coloring with watercolor pencils.
Lastly I painted the Gold Silk onto the flower from the ATS set Lovely Day and then stamped onto my card stock. My coloring job wasn’t the greatest but I love the effect of using the silks as the ink to stamp with.
Over all I am very impressed with the quality of the products that FSJ offers. Their catalog is extensive at 318 pages as well as offering seasonal catalogs, a monthly subscription card kit and 3 starter kits options to choose from! These are all amazing deals and I will be sharing more about those later this week.
I would love to hear your thoughts and I am here to answer any questions you have. It’s been a journey already since I decided to make a change of direction with my crafting and I am excited to have you along!
It’s time to mix things up a little here on the blog. And to get us started, I have my first Mixed Media card for your enjoyment. This card was inspired by the challenge over at the Design Junkies website and their weekly Technique Junkies challenge.
The challenge this week was to use a stencil on your card.n I haven’t used stencils in years and this was the perfect time to get back into it!
The first stencil created the watercolored look with Pool Party ink on white card stock. The second stencil used were the Encore Gold dots. A few strips of washi tape, some handmade scallop flowers with Gold Wink of Stella and some gold accents rounded the card off. The sentiment is from Stampabilities.
As a first project I have to say that I am pretty pleased with how it turned out. I look forward to more experiementing with mixing all different types of media and eventually holding classes for this fun art form soon.
Thanks for stopping by the blog. It’s still a work in progress as I transition from old to new but I would love to hear from you!
Hello stampers! It is time for another great sketch with the gals from Stampin’ Royalty.
And here is my card, perfect for a birthday!
This card is featuring the Cool Treats product suite. The designer series paper is the star of the show, although the die cut ice cream cone is pretty dang cute. I used a couple of the designs from the washi tape for the bottom part of the card and I love how it all came together.
I also want to announce the winner of the Designer Series Paper from the last ICS Blog Hop! Our winner is kbeemer1!! Congratulations! Send me an email with your address and I will get this off in the mail to you.
Have a great week friends!

Welcome back to another International Blog Highlight. This month our theme is weddings. I know that we will have a few weddings this year and I do love making handmade cards for these special occasions. This month I did something non-traditonal and I am super happy with how it turned out.
The base layer is Very Vanilla, even though it is hard to tell and then I cut out the Detailed Floral Thinlits on a sheet of Urban Underground Designer Series Paper. I then layered a piece of vellum behind that and did the stained glass technique for the flowers. The tiny pearls give a dainty accent to the flowers and the soft stain ribbon gives it an elegant touch. This is so bright and fun for a summer wedding, don’t you agree?
I would love it so much if you would visit Kylie’s blog and vote for my card. The top 10 cards will earn a spot in an International Blog Hop and I would love to participate!
